Since the early 1980s, we have been working with ranchers to help them return the maximum amount of dollars back to the ranch through retained ownership. In 1986, we began to employ available technology to better manage the genetics in the cattle and recommend possible genetic changes to enhance profit in the entire herd in the future. We have adopted the philosophy: “You cannot manage what you do not measure.”
Rather than relying on eyeballing or guessing, we measure and manage your cattle individually throughout the entire process, from arrival to sale. And we share every bit of data with you. You’ll learn exactly what each animal sold for, along with a slew of other individual stats (among them: pay weight, ribeye measurement, feed efficiency, and average daily gain). Having this information means you can make informed, thoughtful decisions about which genetics to use when breeding. And you can track your results from year to year, seeing the improvement in the data, and in your profits.
